PURPOSE: To provide a needle punch apparatus for a fiber web, having a needle board of a large needle density. CONSTITUTION: This needle punch apparatus for a fiber web has a crank mechanism 6 acting on a rocker link 12 in order to drive at least one needle board 2 fixed on the rocker link 12, and a fiber web guiding apparatus comprising a bed plate 4 facing to the needle board 2 and a stripper plate 5 placed between the bed plate 4 and the needle board 2. In a mid-position of the stroke of the crank mechanism 6, the needle board 2 is at right angles to the mean inclination 17 of the paths of needles 3 of the needle board 2 penetrating the fiber web. |
