PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved method for assembling an inflatable cushion with a reaction housing in an inflatable restraint system, and an assembling device thereof. SOLUTION: A die 10 which includes at least one cavity 25 extending through the die 10, and an elongate slot 21 communicated with the interior of the cavity 25 and disposed along the length thereof is provided. This die 10 is matched with a reaction housing 16, and a cushion insert formed at a gas introducing opening of an inflatable cushion is axially inserted into an adaptable sleeve of the reaction housing 16 through the die cavity 25 to complete assemblage. |
