PURPOSE: To provide the color adjustment device which is capable of correcting a color so that it copes with a different print concentration gradation, using an ink maker, and of adjusting the color so that an exact chromatic reproducibility can be obtained if environmental and time variations occur. CONSTITUTION: This color adjustment device for a full-color printer consists of a test print data producing part 1 which produces test print data for forming a test print pattern TP, a data base 2 which stores color correction data coping with an intrinsic print concentration gradation in an ink maker, and a control part 3 which selects the color correction data corresponding to a desired print concentration gradation. In addition, the device is composed of a color correction processing part 4 which corrects the test print data based on the selected color correction data, a measurement part 7 which measures the print concentration gradation of a test print pattern TP, and a color adjustment processing part 5 which adjusts the color so that the measured print concentration gradation coincides with the print concentration gradation of the test print data corrected by the color correction processing part 4. |
