PURPOSE: To produce a cured article of a carbon fiber composite material by simple operation irradiating a composite material consisting of a carbon fiber, a curable resin and a catalyst with light to cure the same up to the interior thereof. CONSTITUTION: A composite material consisting of a carbon fiber, a curable resin and a catalyst is irradiated with light to be cured up to the interior thereof. The photo-setting resin used herein is a resin component (usually, monomer and/or oligomer) having radical polymerization properties or cation polymerization properties or both properties and forms a crosslinked bond by the irradiation with light to become a cured resin. As the catalyst, both of a catalyst activated by the irradiation with visible light and/or infrared rays and a catalyst activated by heat are pref. used. As the combination of the curable resin and the catalyst, there is a combination of a polymerization catalyst generating a free radical by the irradiation with light and a compd. having an addition polymerizable ethylenic unsaturated group. |
