PURPOSE:To attain stabilized photographic performance and increased max. density even by rapid development and to inhibit fogging by processing a silver halide color photographic sensitive material contg. an internal latent image type silver halide emulsion in which the surfaces of particles are not fogged with a specified color developing soln. CONSTITUTION:A silver halide color photographic sensitive material contg. an internal latent image type silver halide emulsion in which the surfaces of particles are not fogged is processed with a color developing soln. having <=4.0X10<-3>mol./l bromide ion concn. In case of <=4.0X10<-3>mol./l halogen ion concn., especially bromide ion concn, the developing soln. has a very significant development accelerating effect on the internal latent image type emulsion and the effect is remarkably produced when the emulsion contains a mercapto inhibitor. Thus, rapid development is enabled, stable photographic performance and especially high max. density are attained even by rapid development and fogging is inhibited. |
