The washing water tank (11) is to be fitted in the car engine compartment and comprises a heater, using the engine heat. In at least one tank wall (19) is a retainer (29) for surrounding a heating line (30) leading to the passenger compartment. Pref. the wall, contg. the heating line retainer, consists of a block plastics, at least in the retainer section. Typically the retainer can be clipped together with the heating line. The tank may be shaped to fit into a water box (8) under the bonnet, with the tank top wall (10) forming the box floor (9).
