A processing assembly converts a mass of dough into a continual strip of constant width and thickness which is then cut and shaped into an appropriate sizes as required for subsequent baking. The novelty is that the dough strip shaping unit (1) is linked to a dough rounding assembly (3) by means of a conveyor belt (14). The dough processing machine (15) linked to the strip shaping unit (1) incorporates a dough-receiving assembly (16) and a dough conveyor belt (4) acting as a variable-inclination dispenser. In the extended upper position, the belt (4) provides a feed for the integrated dough-rounding assembly (3) beneath.
