The invention relates to a method for releasable mutual connection of two elements (1, 2), wherein the connection is formed by moving the elements relative to each other in a first manner and the connection is released by moving the elements relative to each other in a second manner which is not opposed to the first manner of movement. The first manner of movement can be a translation movement and the second manner of movement a rotation movement. The invention also relates to an assembly of elements for mutual releasable connection such as an outflow nozzle (1) and a cap (2), which elements are provided with a first set of co-acting members (11) for effecting a releasable connection when said elements are moved relative to each other in a first manner, and a second set of co-acting members (10, 12) for releasing the formed connection when the elements are moved relative to each other in a second manner which is not opposed to the first manner of movement. The co-acting connecting members can be adapted to form a snap connection (10, 12) when the elements are pushed over each other and the co-acting releasing members can be adapted to push apart the elements when they are rotated relative to each other.
