The moulded concrete foundation stone may have a rectangular etc. section. It may be a prefabricated casting complete with vertical centre hole (18) for the foot of the lamp plus a horizontal cable connection channel (8,10) in its lower part. Customised steel wedges are used to fix the foot of the lamp in place, using the dimensions set out in detail in the figures. Removal or replacement is obtained by freeing the fitted steel wedges which in turn release the foot for re-siting etc. of the lamp.
