The carrier forms the inner part of the vehicle door panel. A holder (16) is provided on the carrier and may be a yoke, hinge or retaining arm, upon which a door lock (5) is mounted to swivel, tip or rotate. The holder by one end is rigidly connected to the side wall (17) of the carrier and by the other end located with a clearance (1) in relation to the side wall of the carrier. The door lock is rotatable around an L-form angle-piece (19) on one end of the holder.
