Belt connector for conveyor belts

The U-shaped connecting clips have hinge curves (3) and adjoining clip arms. The hinge curves have at least on their inner sides a lining (6) of wear-resistant material with low friction coefficients. This lining can be made from a metal alloy such as copper alloy, or from a plastics such as PTFE. Where the belt connector has a sealing profile to seal the hinge curves the lining can adjoin the sealing profile. The lining and sealing profile can be made as an integral unit. The lining can have a T-shaped attachment to engage behind the inwardly curved U-arms of the curves.
