<p>An apparatus for practising a golf swing comprises a sheet (3) of material, which may have a simulated grass layer, suspended above an open space for supporting a golf ball. The sheet (3) is stretched and supported on a frame (2). In use, the ball supporting sheet (3) is depressed when struck by the head of a golf club when the club is swung "through" a ball in a manner which normally would result in making a divot in the natural turf of a golf course. The apparatus may be used with a conventional wood or plastic tee.</p> |
