摘要 <p>PURPOSE: To extract a key by providing a locking mechanism for preventing the extraction of an ignition key for a vehicle and a release control means for detecting the forcibly stopped condition of the vehicle to release and drive the mechanism. CONSTITUTION: A locking mechanism 31 is provided consisting of first-third rising walls 23, 24, 25, a slantly rising wall 28, first and second recessed grooves 22, 26, a slantly recessed groove 27 and first and second cut grooves 29, 30 for preventing the extraction of a key 5 and a control circuit 47 is provided for detecting the forcibly stopped condition of the vehicle to control the release of a locking mechanism 31. When a shift lever is operated to a P position, a P position signal is Hi so that an electromagnetic actuator 33 may be excited for a constant time to move an operator 35 back to the axial direction together with a plunger 32. A block 44 slides a step 38 to displace a rod 10 where no interference occurs and allow the thrust of a push button 9 and extraction of the key from an insertion port 6. In this way, prompt starting is made possible at the P position in the forcibly stopped condition.</p>
