PURPOSE:To take out electric energy at high conversion efficiency by uniformly supplying a fuel gas and an oxidant gas. CONSTITUTION:An electrode protruded part 30, protruded in a manifold for supplying a fuel gas and an oxidant gas from the side surface of a laminated unit cell, is provided on the end parts of gas diffusion electrodes 3a and 3b. The size of the pore diameter of the electrode protruded part 30 is made equal to or larger than the pore diameter of a porous body composing gas diffusion electrodes 3a and 3b to increase gas diffusivity into a cell. |
