RADIO TELEPHONE SET AND JUDGING METHOD FOR ITS COMMUNICATION STATE

PURPOSE:To easily discriminate causes of defective communication due to conditions of an electromagnetic waves or by other reasons by providing a cordless telephone set capable of judging the state of the communication on the basis of the receiving state of a control channel and a judging method for the same. CONSTITUTION:The generation of the control channel cch from the received electromagnetic wave and its dissolution are executed by frame generation/ dissolution circuit 14. Further, there is a CRC error and synchronous word error detection circuit 15 in a part of this circuit 4, and a detected CRC error and a detected synchronous word error can be read out successively by a processor. Then, the processor 19 counts the number of the received control channels cch in conformity to a predetermined program, and calculates the probability of the reception of the channel cch by dividing the sum of the number of the control channels in which the detected CRC error and the detected synchronous word error do not occur by the number of the counted control channels. This result is displayed as receiving state indication 4 on a receiving state display screen or is reported to a user by a speaker 18 through an audio circuit 16.
