<p>PURPOSE:To easily align the direction of a face against a ball by providing a projecting part coming into contact with the ground on the face side and the back and toe sides of an intersection where the axis of a shaft intersects when a head main body is inclined by a specific angle from a lie angle to a heel side on the sole of the head main body. CONSTITUTION:A nearly H-shape projecting part 21 extending over from the toe side in the direction of heel side is formed on a sole part 19 by slightly bending from the face side to the back side around the intersection P where the axis L of the shaft 17 intersects with the sole part 19 of the head main body 13. The intersection P is located at a recessed part 23 on the heel side enclosed with a face side projecting part 21a and a back side projecting part 21b which comprise the projecting part 21 and a center projecting part 21c formed integrally between both projecting parts 21a, 21b. In this way, the contact points A-C of the projecting parts 21a-21c come into contact with the ground 25 simultaneously when the head main body 13 is inclined by 5-207 deg. from the lie angle to the heel side, and the head main body 13 can be positioned by making stand still on the ground 25.</p> |
