METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR BYPASSING FLOW OF INFORMATION CELL WITHOUT INTERFERING WITH ALTERNATIVE ROUTE

PURPOSE: To bypass an information cell stream from an operation route to an alternate route without faults. CONSTITUTION: In order to bypass the information cell stream to the alternate route without the faults, inside a cell-oriented communication network, by a connection switching device (CCa) positioned at the start point of a route pair, the information cell stream supplied there is duplicated. The respective information cell streams obtained in such a manner are separately supplied to the connection switching device (CCb) positioned at the terminating end of the route pair through the operation route (AP) and the alternate route (EP) assigned corresponding to the operation route of the route pair. The connection switching device is provided with distributed one synchronization device (SY) or distributed plural synchronization devices (SY1, SY2-SY3 and SY4) and both information cell streams are synchronized while transferring the information cell stream by the operation route first there. After such synchronization achievement, only the information cell stream of the alternate route is transferred thereafter.
