PURPOSE:To easily and manually execute the correction of a threshold level at the time of generating a difference between a judged result sensed by a patrolman for monitoring/equipment and judged result informed from a device. CONSTITUTION:An acoustic signal catched by a microphone 103 is converted into a sound pressure level by an acoustic signal processing part 104 in a plant abnormality detecting device 102. An abnormality conviction calculating part 107 calculates abnormality conviction in order to compare it with a threshold. On the other hand, data are obtained by a distribution data calculating part 106 in order to determine a threshold and information to be provided to an operator is calculated by a correction part 108. The correction part 108 superposes the thereshold level to a probability density distribution graph expressed based on a probability variable and probability density and displays the superposed result on a CRT 109. While observing the picture displayed on the CRT 109, the operator corrects the threshold level by manual operation. In order to compare the threshold level with abnormality conviction, a threshold exceeding probability calculating part 110 converts the threshold into appearance probability for probability density distribution. |
