PURPOSE:To produce magnetic toner and ink capable of obtaining stable organic magnetic material as well a excellent picture images easy in synthesizing and excellent reproducibility by incorporating insoluble compound produced by photoxodizing a component having triarylmethane structure. CONSTITUTION:An organic magnetic material contains an insoluble compound produced by photooxidizing a compound having triarylmethane structure represented by formula, wherein Ar<1>: at least two cycles substituted or unsubstituted condensated polycyclic arylene radical (provided, hetero atoms comprising N, S or O may be contained in the ring member) or electron donative radical substituted phenylene radical, Ar<2>: substituted or unsubstituted allyle radical, n: degree of polymerization). Through these processes a stable organic magnetic material easy in synthesizing and excellent reproducibility can be produced. Further, magnetic toner and ink capable of obtaining excellent picture image can be produced. |
