PURPOSE:To improve the incident efficiency of light by reducing reflection loss at the time when the light enters. CONSTITUTION:This optical transmission tube is equipped with a transparent core 1, a tubular clad 2 with which the core 1 is coated and which has a lower refractive index than that of the core 1, and sealing stoppers 3a and 3b which are respectively fitted in aperture parts at both ends of the clad 2 and whose light entering side is formed out of a transparent material. A reflection preventing film 4 to a visible light beam is formed on the outside exposure surface of the transparent sealing stopper 3a on the light entering side.
