The rotary type peg having a spring is easily driven into the ground for fixing the tent. The peg comprises the outer casing(3) having inner spring(4); the rotary casing(2) connected with the upper end of the spring, movable from the outer casing; and the lever(5) having a groove(8), fixed at the stationary shaft(6a) on the rotary casing(2). The outer casing(3) comprises a upper packing(13), a lower guide roller(9), a guide plate(10) and a outer ring(11) with a loop(12).
