PURPOSE:To efficiently perform the cooling by providing the parting plate between a processing unit part and a thermal fixing unit, and forming the exhausting path passing from a cooling air inlet to a sucking fun along the plate. CONSTITUTION:The the exhausting path severally passing to the sucking fun is comprised of the path passing through the air opening from the rib of the guide member 42, the path passing through photoreceptor 11 from the ozone blower fan 46 and the path passing through the air opening of the paper transporting rib 124. The fixing unit and the tank 57 are efficiently cooled by the air passing through these paths. Then, the thermal transmission from the fixing unit to the process unit is prevented, as the fixing unit and the process unit part are separated by the cover of the fixing unit and the image forming unit case 60, and the adverse effects to the process unit by the thermal fixing unit becoming to the high temp. is eliminated, by the action of the ventilation flow. Moreover, the space is provided between the image forming unit case 60 and the fixing unit, consequently the cooling is efficiently performed by the air made to flow through the space. |
