<p>PURPOSE:To avoid the link interruption by not returning transmission data to a concerned equipment so as to block the execution of abnormal frame processing for the data on the occurrence of a fault of out of synchronism of frame in the transmission data. CONSTITUTION:A receiver 18 of an I/F section 9a(9b) receives reception data from a transmission reception control section, a P/S conversion section 19 applies P/S conversion to the data and the result is sent to a terminal equipment. An S/P conversion section 20 applies S/P conversion to the transmission data and a driver 21 provides an output to the transmission reception control section. The receiver 18 receives data when a signal whose synchronization establish signal Sb and whose port enable signal Sc are coincident at the reception of data is coincident with a control signal used to start reception after the setting time to block data destruction of an optical transmission line 1 and to stop the reception just after out of frame synchronization. A drive signal is outputted to a driver 26 when the synchronization establish signal Sb and the port enable signal Sc from the transmission reception control section are coincident in an AND gate 28 in the case of transmission and a transmission request flag signal Sa is outputted to the transmission reception control section.</p> |
