Automatic machine for producing infusions of hot beverages such as coffee

The machine consists of a body (2) facing towards a boiler (3), designed to be brought together to form an infusion chamber. Between the body and the boiler there is a receiver (4) for an individual package (6) of the product to be infused, incorporating a tipping member (11) which drops down to be fixed temporarily between the body and boiler. The package is held in position by a component (5) with vertical side grooves (10) during the infusion process and is ejected automatically afterwards by gravity. The infusion chamber itself is formed from two recesses (39, 40) in the faces of the body and the boiler respectively, with seals on the periphery of the package which also serves to give the package rigidity.
