The proposed short-circuit plug comprises a short-circuit optical waveguide (10) for the purpose of short-circuiting two optical units; each end (14, 15) of the waveguide is accommodated in its respective plug pin (20) for coupling with the optical units. The plug pins (20) are separate elements and enclosed in jackets (40) of an elastic material. In order to create a defined contact pressure and equalize tolerances, the plug pins can move as the jacket (40) undergoes elastic deformation. |
