Cat toilet with electrically operated ventilation fan

The cat toilet has a dished base (3) containing cat litter and cooperating cover (2) with the same peripheral contour, having an access opening at one end, for the entry and exit of the cat. The cover incorporates an electrically operated ventilation fan (4), for active ventilation of the interior of the cat toilet via a series air filter. Pref. the ventilation fan is fitted in an opening at the centre of the cover, via a peripheral seal (4,6), the control stage for switching in the ventilation fan including a switch element, or a movement sensor, activated by the cat.
