Hand-held body massage device

The massage device has a housing (2,3) which is movable in all directions, enclosing a massage ball (1). The housing is divided into 2 parts with a separation plane coinciding with the centre of the massage ball, one part (2) formed as a handgrip and the other part (3) as a removable retaining ring. Pref. the housing contains a light source, with the light directed through the transparent massage ball. The latter may be coloured, or a colour filter may be inserted between the light source and the ball. The ball may be supplied with electrical voltage pulses to provide electrostimulation during massage.
