PURPOSE:To provide a garbage treatment apparatus with a high deodorization capacity by treating efficiently odorous gas generated in garbage treatment with an oxidation catalyst. CONSTITUTION:In a garbage treatment apparatus having a treatment room for treating garbage and a catalytic deodorization means 5 for deodorizing odorous gas generated in the treatment room, the catalytic deodorization means 5 is constituted in a unit comprising a catalyst layer 31, a route 32 which makes an odorous gas flow snake upstream from the layer 31, and a heating means 33 for heating the route 32 and the layer 31. |
