PURPOSE: To obtain a pharmaceutical composition that contains medical additives as plasmin, can be simply and safely applied with increased thrombolytic effect and is useful for treatment of thrombosis and embolism. CONSTITUTION: This pharmaceutical composition contains (A) a plasmin as fibrin hydrolytic plasmin, (B) a plasminogen activator and/or plasminogen that is at least partially free type, namely not a conjugated complex such as tPA, urokinase, and, when necessary, (C) usual pharmaceutical additives and/or carriers in both. The molar ratio of the components A and B is in the range of 1/0.01-1/3.
