PURPOSE:To provide a process for production of a balloon catheter having no difference in level in the juncture of a balloon part and catheter tube which are connected by maintaining resilience in this juncture. CONSTITUTION:This process for production has a stage for fixing a fusion margin part 10 of the crosslinked polyolefin balloon part 5 to a fixing section 12 by a yarn-like fixing member 16, fusing this part by heating, then removing the fixing member 16 at the time of fusing the fusion margin part 10 to the catheter tube 2. |
