Solar heat collector facade - with raisable folded blind for control of heat intake

Solar heat energy is used for heating or cooling a building by applying to the roof or the facade of the building, made of a heat storing material such as stone or concrete, a facing pane which is permeable to radiation. In the space between, a folded blind can be let down or folded up. The blind consists preferably of a plastic foil with an aluminium coating which reflects the heat in the DOWN-position to keep the facade or collectors on it cool, and allows them to be heated in the UP-position. The preferred materials for the permeable pane is polyester, scobalite, glass or acrylic glass. This system can be used either to improve the heating efficiency or to prevent the undesired heat intake.
