<p>PURPOSE:To make an ignition module inexpensively manufacturable in a simple construction and to secure its reliability, in this internal combustion engine igniter integrally built in with an ignition coil and the ignition module as one body. CONSTITUTION:In this igniter 1, a pocket part 6 is installed in a case 20 housing both primary and secondary coils 4 and 5, and an ignition module 2 is built in this pocket part 6. In this ignition module 2, a relay member 15 is clamped on a heat sink, and a connecting terminal 16 to be electrically connected to an inner terminal 11 is attached to the relay member 15, then the connecting terminal 16 and a hybrid integrated circuit substrate 1 2 are electrically connected by an aluminum wire 17. In addition, silicone gel 3 is filled up in an interspace at the side of this hybrid IC substrate 12 from the relay member 15 in the pocket part 6.</p> |
