The garment, esp. a golfing jacket, consists of panels forming the back and front (2), a neck (5) and two sleeves (4). Each sleeve is made in three sections, an upper one (8) and two lower ones (9), the upper one being wide enough to cover three quarters of the circumference of the arm and connected to the body of the garment by a vertical seam (11). The lower sections are joined to the body by a more or less horizontal seam (12) which forms an extension of the bust line (6). The upper and lower sleeve sections are connected by seams (13) running from the wrist to the point at which the vertical and horizontal seams meet.
