The transfer arrangement is for panes of insulating glass. There is an intermediate store (5) containing a suspension device with a horizontal support beam (7) having a free end (8). The beam is overlapped by a corner of the suspended clearance maintenance frames (2). The take-over piece (9) is a pin having a smaller cross-section than the support beam. The beam has a vertical end-side open slot (15) whose width is the same as or greater than the horizontal cross-sectional dimension of the pin.
