<p>Carriers comprising silica-based glass providing for the controlled release of biologically active molecules, their methods of preparation, and methods of use are disclosed. The carriers are prepared using a sol-gel-derived process. Biologically active molecules are incorporated within the matrix of the glass during production.</p> |
