The transmission wheel has an axially open annular recess (1), which is bounded in the radial direction by at least one axial projection (2,3). A torsion vibration damper is laid against this projection. This damper is made independently of the wheel, from a pre-assembled unit. The damper is formed from an external ring (6) surrounding an internal ring (7) with radial spacing. A spring body (9) is fitted in this spacing (8). The spring body is made of elastomer material, connecting the two rings elastically in the rotary direction. One ring is the vibration ring, and the other is fixed to the axial projection.
