One flank of each of the stepped parts (13a,13c) of the clamp (11) bears against the outside surface of the respective rocker arm (3a,3c). With three rockers (3a,b,c), the clamp step flank bears on the endface of the two respective outer rockers and uses its free ends (12a,c) to close off the channel in the axial part (2). A lug (15) forming part of the clamp (11) engages a recess (14) designed into the axial part (2) so that the clamp is fixed to the cylinder head of the engine via the lug and axial part together. In detail, the recess (14) lies centrally in the axial part as accessed clear of the centre rocker arm (3b) by the lug whose embossed part (16) engages an indented part of the recess (14) and thus locates the clamp lug in relation to the part (2).
