The appts. for winding (UE) a light waveguide conductor (LW1,LW2) from a large supply bobbin (PS), to a smaller supply bobbin (VS), has an additional dyeing unit (FE) with a colour applicator (FV) for the lightwave conductor (LW2). The lightwave (LW2) is fed selectively from the large bobbin (PS). The system, together with the rewinder unit (UE), forms a combined winding and colouring unit (CFU).
