A plant growing sheet structure comprising: a base web layer and a core material layer that are laminated in that order and integrally connected; or a base web layer, a seed retaining layer and a core material layer laminated in that order and integrally connected; or a base web layer, a core material layer, a seed retaining layer and a cover web layer laminated in that order and integrally connected, wherein a surface of the sheet structure is provided with plant protecting protrusions. A natural lawn grass sheet structure comprising the plant growing sheet structure and natural lawn grass grown therein. A lawn grass growing method, wherein a semi-artificial lawn grass sheet structure comprising an artificial lawn grass portion and a natural lawn grass portion is placed on a concrete wall surface to hydroponically culture the natural lawn grass portion. Also disclosed is a method for transporting to and laying in large facility semi-artificial lawn grass sheet structures as required that have been stored in an outdoor storage while natural lawn grass portions thereof have been grown.
