PURPOSE:To obtain the thermally shrinkable polyester film comprising a polyester resin produced from an acid component containing terephthalate (its ester- forming derivative) as a main component and an alcohol component, etc., free from shrinkage irregularity, excellent in shrinkage characteristics and shrinkage adhesivity at high temperatures, and useful as a wrapping material, etc. CONSTITUTION:This thermally shrinkable polyester film comprises (A) 20-90wt.% of a polyester comprising an acid component containing terephthalic acid (its ester-forming derivative) as a main component and an alcohol component such as ethylene glycol and (B) 10-80wt.% of a polyester resin comprising an acid component containing a naphthalic acid (its ester-forming derivative) such as 2,6-naphthalic dicarboxylic acid as a main component and an alcohol component. The film has preferably a shrinkage degree of <=5% when shrunk in 100 deg.C hot air for 1hr, and a shrinkage degree of >=20% when shrunk at a hot air of 130 deg.C for 1hr. |
