PURPOSE:To easily obtain a UV-shielding, clear and hollow molded product which can be used as a vessel for cosmetics, refreshing beverage and the like by subjecting a mixture of a polyethylene terephthalate-containing resin and a polyethylene naphthalate-containing resin at a specific ratio to the (orienting) blow-molding. CONSTITUTION:This UV-shielding, clear and hollow molded product comprises (A) 90.0-99.5wt.% of a resin containing more than 90 mole % of ethylene terephthalate units (intrinsic viscosity: preferably 0.70-1.20g/dl) and (B) 0.5-5.0wt.% of a resin containing more than 90 mole% of polyethylene naphthalate (intrinsic viscosity: preferably 0.40-0.65g/l), in addition, preferably (C) 2.0-5.0wt.% of polycarbonate. It is preferred that the hollow product has an average density of 1.010-1.050 time that of the amorphous polymer which constitutes the hollow product at its trunk. |
