PURPOSE:To obtain the optical space transmission system in which a signal is sent normally by avoiding the effect due to a reflected light of the transmission signal from a satellite equipment or a bypass light or the like with simple configuration. CONSTITUTION:A signal is sent by optical space transmission between a transmitter-receiver T sending a data signal from a data terminal equipment D to space and a satellite equipment S having a light receiving element P and a light emitting element L and installed on a building material such as a ceiling to send data among plural data terminal equipments. The light receiving element P of the satellite equipment S is arranged on an insulation base B and a face of the insulation base B with the light receiving element P mounted thereon is directed to the space closer to the space than the installed position of the light emitting element L and the insulation base B on which the light receiving elements P are arranged acts like a light shield plate to allow the bypass light or a reflected light emitted from the light emitting element L to hardly enter the light receiving element P.
