PURPOSE:To obtain a herbicidal composition widened in the herbicidal spectrum and capable of persisting the herbicidal effect by using a pyridine sulfonamide compound or its salt and 2-chloro-4-ethylamino-6-isopropylamino-1,3,5-triazine. CONSTITUTION:This herbicidal agent composition contains a pyridine sulfonamide compound of the formula [X is H, a halogen, methyl (capable of being substituted with a halogen); R is H, methyl] or its salt and 2-chloro-4- ethylamino-6-isopropylamino-1,3,5-triazine. The pyridine sulfonamide of the formula includes such compounds of the formula (X is H, and R is CH3, X and R are each H), and a compound of the formula (X is CHF2, and R is CH3), etc. The mixing weight ratio of two compounds among them is 1:200 to 20:1. The herbicidal composition has a wide herbicidal spectrum, and can persist the sufficient herbicidal effect through the growth period of corn only by once spraying this herbicidal agent. |
