PURPOSE:To facilitate injection molding even with high filling of magnetic powder, by using magnetic powder which is stirred in a high-speed airstream and given an impulse. CONSTITUTION:After a powder mixture of magnetic powder of ferrite group, such as, barium ferrite, and a binder like nylon 6 is stirred in a highspeed airstream and given an impulse, the resulting mixture is melted and kneaded. Alternatively, after magnetic powder is stirred in a high-speed airstream and given an impulse, the resulting magnetic powder is mixed with a binder, and the mixture is melted and kneaded. The magnetic powder and the binder may be mixed by a normal method under normal conditions using a Henshel type mixer. The melting and kneading may be carried out by a normal method under normal conditions in response to the melting temperature of the resin, using a biaxial knead/thrust machine or a KCK knead/thrust machine. After the melting and kneading, the mixture is formed into a pellet shape. The melted and kneaded material has a high fluidity, so that a bonded magnet of desired shape can be produced by injection-molding the material. |
