PURPOSE:To improve assembly characteristic and reliability of an ignition device for an internal combustion engine where an ignition module is contained in an ignition coil. CONSTITUTION:An ignition module 26 and a primary coil subassembly 27 where a repeater terminal is inserted are assembled by press-insert or bonding, so that the connection as an ignition device for internal combustion engine is completed in this state. Thus, relating to the ignition device for internal combustion engine where the ignition module 26 is contained in an ignition coil, cost is reduced and reliability is improved.
