PURPOSE:To suppress buckling in the case where a tire is punctured by equipping the tread part of the tire having a rubber reinforcing layer with a land part divided through many inclined main grooves, and forming a reinforced structure where the land part and the end part on one side of the rubber reinforced layer overlap on each other in the direction of thickness in the end zone of the tread part. CONSTITUTION:The inside of a side wall 2 is equipped with a rubber reinforcing layer 8 whose section is crescent-shaped so as to lighten a load, and a tread part 6 has a land part 10 divided by many inclined main grooves 9 which incline at the angle of alpha in a peripheral direction from the central part of the tread part 6 toward both its ends E and extend. In a space between a carcass 4 and an air impermeable inner liner 11, one end part, namely a radial outside end part 8e, overlaps with the land part 10 in the direction of thickness within the range of width W in a tread end zone 6e through the end part 5e of a belt layer. The hardness and thickness of the rubber reinforcing layer 8 which are required for running in the case where the side wall takes over a load as inner pressure when the tire is punctured are determined according to the use of the tire. |
