PURPOSE:To obtain the non-aqueous electrolyte battery, which can be used or stored in the condition at a high temperature, by respectively using polyphenylenesulfide resin as a gasket, the organic solvent having a high boiling point as the non-aqueous electrolyte, and the specified glass fiber as a separator. CONSTITUTION:A titanium collector 7, a positive mix 3, a separator 4 and a negative electrode 2 are placed in a battery case 5 made of stainless steel, and they are sealed with a sealing plate 1 and a gasket 6. In this non-aqueous electrolyte battery, lithium metal is used as the negative electrode active material, and graphite fluoride is used as the positive electrode active material. Furthermore, the gasket 6, which is interposed between the battery case 5 as a positive terminal and the sealing plate 1 as a negative terminal, is made of polyphenylenesulfide resin, and the separator 4 is made of the glass fiber at 2mum or less of mean fiber diameter, at 5.0-9.0g/m of METSUKE weight, and at 3.0-7.5mum of mean hole diameter. As the non-aqueous electrolyte, the organic solvent having a boiling point at 170 deg.C or more, for example, the material, which is obtained by dissolving lithium salt such as LiBF4 at 0.90-1.50 mole/l is dissolved as the solute in gamma-butyrolactone, is used. |
