PURPOSE:To observe all scenes without missing with simplified constitution by recording a transmitted video signal, recording the signal in a memory device after the reproduction of the transmission signal is interrupted and outputting a recorded signal after the release of interruption. CONSTITUTION:A reproduction control circuit 14 reproduces video audio data from a video audio input part 10. Thence, a user interrupts viewing for, example, fifteen minutes. At this time, a recording control circuit 13 records the video audio data from the input part 10 on a memory device 12. Thence, the viewing is restarted from a positiom where the user interrupts the viewing fifteen minutes before, and the video audio data broadcased before fifteen minutes and recorded on the memory device 12 is viewed. In other words, at this time, the circuit 13 reads out the video audio data recorded before fifteen minutes before that time as writing the video sudio data from the video audio input part 10 on the memory device 12, and outputs it to the reproduction control circuit 14.
