<p>PURPOSE:To prevent an internal circuit from being damaged in the case of connection with the AC adapter by supplying a DC voltage generated by the AC adapter through a choking coil, which is provided between a main body side connector and the internal circuit, to the internal circuit. CONSTITUTION:An electronic equipment 3 is provided with a jack 4 which freely attachably and detachably connects a plug 2 to be connected to a main body 1 of the AC adapter to input a DC current generated by the AC adapter 1 as a driving power source, a choking coil 6 composed of a ferritic core is provided at a connection line between the jack 4 and an internal circuit 5. Since this choking coil 6 is operated as a resistor with respect to a high frequency, the surge of a high voltage generated at the time of connecting the plug 2 and the jack 4 is absorbed. Thus, even when the remaining power of a battery is reduced and a charging current from the AC adapter to the battery is increased, for example, the internal circuit can be prevented from being damaged.</p> |
