SYSTEM FOR ENCODING GRAPHICAL QUEUE IN SYNCHRONIZATION WITH AUDIO

PURPOSE: To provide a method and a device for simplifying steps required for preparing the graphical queue of words at the time of displaying the lyrics of KARAOKE (orchestration without the lyrics) matched with a song. CONSTITUTION: In a final CD-G product, the lyrics are displayed on CRTs 40 and 42 as white characters on the background of a chroma key (normally blue.) When this system is used, an operator can accurately control the fill of the displayed lyrics at a timing matched with music and the appearance of the lyrics of display. For instance, the color of the fill is specified so as to distinguish a male solo, a female solo or a duet. The operator can also prepare the other pattern-like graphic images to be displayed during an accompaniment in between for which the music is present but the lyrics are absent and a display title.
